My Short Week

This school is a lot different from my old one. We only had to go to school three days this week because of Thanksgiving. Now in my old school with a three day week, we wouldn't get anything done. It would be the most pointless and wasteful week. But here in high school things have changed. There is no sitting around making an arts and craft turkey made from my hand. The only thing that had to do with Thanksgiving this week is a short story Matt wrote about a turkey named Montgomery who traveled through a desert. No Thanksgiving activities, just work. I made a resume and started a blog. It seems like everyone is skipping over Thanksgiving. It seems like Christmas has overshadowed Thanksgiving. Christmas lights are up, trees are up, Christmas music is playing. I mean don't get me wrong I LOVE Christmas, but Thanksgiving is pretty awesome too, and I can't wait until Thursday.
