Flash

Alright, now that we've finished Photoshop, we have moved onto Flash. Flash is much more annoying than photoshop because nothing works as it should. It is a lot harder to work but I guess that comes with practice. First we had to make three pictures appear and add text. Today and yesterday's project was to advertise for a water company. We had to draw a cup of water, make bubbles in the water move, make waves we made move, add snow, and add a text. This was time consuming especially because of the mistakes.

No More Photoshop

Today was the last day of photoshop. We designed a box for the present we most wanted. I made one for an Xbox. We had to put a sale sticker on it, add text, add a picture, and a log. The box was tilted so we had to set up a vanishing point and that got tricky and annoying. Things had to be precise or it wouldn't look right. Tomorrow we are starting flash. EHHERMAGERF

No photoshop today

Today Mrs. Rod was not here. She left a google docs for us to print out and complete. It was a matching page. There were 25 confusing words she gave us and we had to match it to their definitions. And I had a problem printing it. The .pdf wouldn't open. It kept crashing safari. So i just printed it but it cut off the last couple words. So i had to work on the paper from the computer.

MORE PHOTOSHOPING

This week Mrs. Rod taught us how to repair pictures. We took old ripped pictures and put them together then added color to it. There was an old lady wearing a hat but her picture was all ripped, so we put it back together and made her wear a pretty colored dress. Then we touched up pictures of old ladies, taking away their wrinkles. We also changed a girl's eye color and brightened a man's teeth. In the mean time we cut out our beautiful butterfly picture and mounted it on construction paper. And Mrs. Rod taught me an important lesson, "You can always cut more, but you can never cut less."

Week of Being Tired >:(

This week I have had play practice everyday until 9:30. On top of all of that I have had two major projects due today. Getting home at 10 each night, changed my sleep hours to work hours. So I did not get much sleep any day this week and it has been brutal. I did have fun in photoshop though. We were supposed to clean up a outline of a butterfly then color it in. It was pretty time consuming but lucky I got it all done. I was really satisfied with the end product. It looked colorful and nice and I think that Mrs. Rod is printing them. While I was working this morning, I was interrupted by an announcement.  Our principal was angry that there was paper left in the hall, so now all freshmen have to be in the lunchroom during lunch. I am not too happy about that mainly because it was not even near my locker.

Harassment Intimidation and Bullying! These are awful things. Everyone is person and deserves to be treated with dignity and receive the love others get. When you bully, you take that away from people and that is wrong. Being treated nicely should not be a privilege but a right.

More Photoshop in Com Tech

So today and yesterday we had to remake a movie poster. But we had to add a part of to stopping bullying. I remade the poster from my favorite movie, Across the Universe. Yesterday I handed it in and i wasn't too confident on what i had done. But today she dave us more time to edit and fix things. Apparently my brain started working today, because I made some good changes to the poster and love it now.
